What is the Outreach Program?
It's an idea Catty and Vanessa had following their investigation into Dust with a few others. The program is to help people who are using or thinking of using Dust (but also any other addiction, they're not going to turn you away).
What's Dust?
Dust is a drug that's being developed within Keeliai and distributed throughout the sectors. There were a few leads on the source of the drug, but most led to dead ends. It's a dust-like drug that's applied to the skin with liquid.
What makes Dust so dangerous?
One of the properties of the drugs is that it makes people more susceptible to coercion. They're basically mindless and will listen to any order given to them. Say, for instance, a group of thugs working for Malicant telling the users to sacrifice a bunch of other people.
What they learned on their investigation was that anything negative can impact Asti's health, meaning that even this little drug can be useful to Malicant in plenty of ways.
What sort of positions are available?
First off, this program is entirely volunteer-based. Nobody will get paid. So they definitely need benefactors to help keep them afloat. This isn't about money, after all. This is about helping the kedan, Asti, and even themselves.
Volunteers are always going to be handy. It's not just about talking to people who are on the drug that need help. Getting to kedan before they start taking it, giving out information on Dust, even learning where the dealers are getting will be a big help.
Or pretty much if you just want to drop by and deliver doughnuts, that's cool, too. Nobody says no to doughnuts.
Below is a form to you can fill out and let me know which characters are interested in helping out Vanessa and Catty with the program. Please let me know so that I can keep track of who is doing what and where. Thanks, guys!

He probably wouldn't be a regular feature, but Catty and Vanessa could put him to whatever work they wanted on the days he was there.
Any special skills they have that could help out? STARSHIP CAPTAIN. Also has a history of dealing with people doing dangerous body modifications thanks supplemental canon details. Also has taught martial arts?? Idk man he does a little bit of everything. He's used to being a leader and helping/listening to others.
ALTERNATELY: Bruce Wayne would help fund them if they needed it so feel free to say that's a thing?

ETA: He would distance quite a bit if he found out Bruce Wayne (or Tony Stark, etc) was paying for the place, because he doesn't do corporate. xD

Any special skills they have that could help out? Emma is a licensed therapist (SEX THERAPY COUNTS OKAY no seriously this is canon) and she's her universe's most perceptive telepath, so she is really really good at figuring out what's truly bothering people. Whether she uses this for good or evil depends greatly on canon point and whether she thinks she's going to get caught, but she doesn't have much motive for shenanigans...yet. (She's reasonably ethical in conduct if not character, since she doesn't want to get a reputation
worse than the one she already has.)
